Medical Disclaimer

Last Updated: February 28, 2026

The information provided by The Well-Minded Plate, LLC (“Company,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) through this website (www.thewellmindedplate.com) and related services—including blog posts, emails, social media content, The Well-Minded Method program, digital downloads, group coaching, workshops, and other educational materials—is provided for educational and informational purposes only.

This content is not medical advice, not nutrition therapy, not mental health treatment, and not a substitute for individualized care from a qualified healthcare provider.

1. Educational Content vs. Medical Nutrition Therapy

Unless you are an active 1:1 client working directly with a Registered Dietitian through our clinical services, no information provided on this website or in our programs should be interpreted as individualized medical nutrition therapy.

The following offerings are educational in nature and do not constitute clinical care:

  • The Well-Minded Method self-guided program

  • Group coaching programs

  • Workbooks and worksheets

  • Webinars, videos, and workshops

  • Blog posts, emails, and social media content

  • Free guides, downloads, and resources

These materials are not tailored to your individual medical conditions, medications, lab values, diagnoses, or health history.

The Well-Minded Method may also be used as an educational framework during individualized nutrition counseling. When used within scheduled 1:1 counseling sessions, it is considered part of medical nutrition therapy.

2. Not a Substitute for Medical or Mental Health Care

Nothing on this website or in our programs should be considered:

  • Medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment

  • Mental health counseling or psychotherapy

  • Emergency or crisis intervention

  • Instructions to start, stop, or change medications or supplements

  • A replacement for care provided by a physician, therapist, psychiatrist, or other licensed healthcare professional

Always consult your physician, mental health provider, or other qualified professional before making changes to your diet, supplements, medications, or lifestyle.

If you are experiencing a medical or psychiatric emergency, call 911 or go to the nearest emergency room.

For immediate mental health support, you may also contact the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline.

3. Clinical Services Are Separate From Educational Programs

Individualized nutrition counseling is provided only through separate clinical services conducted via Berry Street, a HIPAA-compliant telehealth platform.

Medical nutrition therapy may include use of The Well-Minded Method as a structured educational framework alongside personalized nutrition care.

These services adhere to:

  • State licensure laws

  • Professional standards of the Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) credential

  • Appropriate clinical documentation and privacy practices

Participation in any educational course, group program, or self-guided material does not create a dietitian–patient relationship.

4. Personal Responsibility

By using this website or participating in our programs, you acknowledge that:

  • You are responsible for your own health decisions

  • You will seek professional care when appropriate

  • You will not disregard or delay medical or mental health treatment based on educational content

  • General education cannot address your unique medical needs

5. No Guarantees of Outcomes

While our programs are informed by evidence-based nutrition and behavior change principles, we do not guarantee:

  • Weight changes

  • Symptom improvement

  • Mental health outcomes

  • Health transformations

  • Any specific results

Individual outcomes vary based on personal factors including health history, environment, resources, and behavior.

6. Mental Health Scope

Because The Well-Minded Plate addresses the intersection of nutrition and mental well-being, it is important to clarify:

  • We do not provide psychotherapy, psychiatric evaluation, or crisis services

  • We do not diagnose or treat eating disorders, anxiety, depression, or other mental health conditions

  • Our programs are educational and supportive—not therapeutic
