Nutrition counseling that finally feels easier
Personalized support from a registered dietitian who understands that mental health, medications, stress, and real life are all part of the picture.
What is Nutrition Counseling, exactly?
Nutrition counseling is not another diet, meal plan, or set of food rules.
It's a form of medical nutrition therapy built around your health, your symptoms, and your real life. We look at how your brain, body, medications, and daily routines all connect to food, appetite, and mood. Then we build something practical from there.
My approach focuses on:
-
Understanding what's actually driving your eating patterns, energy, and appetite
-
Building sustainable habits without shame, stress, or confusion
-
Creating a plan that fits your real life and health conditions
-
Supporting both physical health and mental well-being at the same time
Some clients use The Well-Minded Method as a structured guide during counseling. Others prefer a fully individualized approach. Both are available.

You never have to choose between your mental health and your nutrition goals. We work on both together.

A quick note: I am a registered dietitian, not a therapist or mental health counselor. My work is nutritional, and I do not provide psychotherapy. I focus on how food, eating patterns, and physical health intersect with mental well-being. For mental health treatment, I encourage working with a licensed mental health provider. I'm happy to collaborate with your existing care team.

How It Works
1. Your first visit (90 minutes)
We start with a full nutrition assessment. We talk about your medical history, medications, routines, mental health, energy levels, stress, and your real-life eating patterns.
This helps me understand the full picture. Not just what you eat, but what your life actually looks like.

2. Follow-ups (30-60 minutes)
Follow-up visits focus on building practical strategies that work for your life.
We adjust your plan, troubleshoot challenges, and build flexible routines that feel supportive.

3. Ongoing support is adjusted as your needs change
Your nutrition care adjusts as your needs change. Some clients meet short-term for a specific goal. Others prefer longer-term support. There's no pressure either way.
Payment & Insurance
Nutrition care should be accessible. Not all-or-nothing.
